Announcement

Safe Haven Sunday will be observed February 29-March 1, 2020 in the Diocese of Lafayette.

Intro Text

The inappropriate use of technology in the home deprives the home of its role; to be a “Safe Haven”. The greatest threat to the sanctity of marriages and families today is pornography. Pornography, whether we realize or not, is often one click away. Safe Haven Sunday is a great way to bring awareness to the issue and address the harmfulness of pornography within the family as well as our culture. Covenant Eyes is assisting us with the tools and resources for parents/guardians and leaders to use in order to help protect our children in the digital world.

During the weekend of March 9-10, 2019, the Diocese of Lafayette will implement Safe Haven Sunday. This awareness weekend will provide access to resources where parents/guardians, and leaders will be able to learn helpful ways to protect themselves as well as young children from online risks of pornography.
